RE:SOURCE depends on its amazing team of volunteers and we’d love you to become a part of that team.

Everyone is welcome to come to RE:SOURCE or RE:STORE to give volunteering a try; you can focus on an area that most interests you, or give everything a try to see what suits you best! Volunteering can fit around you, so you can arrange a time and day which is most convenient. We want your experience of volunteering to be fun, interesting and rewarding!

At RE:SOURCE and RE:STORE we have opportunities for volunteers of all backgrounds and experience:

We are incredibly lucky to be supported by retirees and skilled volunteers who want to give back to their community, they guide our less experienced volunteers, passing on their knowledge and skills. They are a fantastic source of information and inspiration and we are always looking to add to their numbers.
You might be looking for work experience because you are looking for your first job or are changing career. Perhaps you have been out of work for a while and want to get back into the routine of attending a workplace and want to update your skills. You might also be looking for a route to gaining some qualifications. If this is you, we can definitely help.
In today’s job market it’s getting exceptionally difficult to stand out from the crowd. If you’re an under-graduate or a Graduate looking to enhance your employability and you want somewhere to volunteer during the holidays or after your degree we could give you just the edge you need when applying for jobs!

We can provide many varied volunteering opportunities. Placements are available in Customer Service, Retail and Sales, Administration, Office Management, Marketing, Driving, Furniture Repair, Warehousing, Systems Management, Logistics and Electronics. RE:SOURCE provides an excellent learning environment, and it’s a great place for people to gain confidence and valuable hands-on experience in a real workplace.

ReZolve Skills

We offer training through a project called ReZolve Skills. ReZolve Skills can help you to develop practical skills in order to obtain employment in many occupational areas, achieve recognised environmental qualifications, even help your business to increase profits. At the same time we also want to show you how your actions can help the environment, why people and communities are so important and how adopting these values can help you.

If you’re looking to move into a career in the environmental sector ReZolve Skills can give you the opportunity to train within, learn from and get first hand practical experience of projects and businesses which have both environmental and social aims at their core.

Environmental Skills Network

RE:SOURCE isn’t the only place you can receive training, ReZolve Skills works in partnership with The Environmental Skills Network (a project that provides support to existing and emerging environmental sector companies) by working with ESN, ReZolve Skills can help introduce you to a network of green sector companies in Cornwall.
