Household Appliances are Back at RE:SOURCE
Following a period of closure we are pleased to announce our electrical workshops are fully operational and Household Appliances will once again be sold at RE:SOURCE from Friday 5th August. The RE:SOURCE workshops were temporarily closed to allow us to reassess and redesign our workshops and their processes in order to help us save more appliances from landfill and provide our customers with a wider range of excellent quality, reconditioned appliances. From 5th August RE:SOURCE will be providing household appliances as part of their Value and Reuse ranges. The Value items are shop or warranty return items whereas the Reuse appliances have been donated to RE:SOURCE by someone in the local community or collected from one of East Cornwall’s Civic Amenity sites. All of our appliances are put through rigorous testing including a visual inspection, a function test, and an electrical safety test before being PAT tested and thoroughly cleaned. Any faults or worn components are logged and replaced, ensuring that your appliance is a reconditioned machine of the highest standard, complete with a three or six month warranty. The relaunch will see a stock of washing machines, tumble driers, electric cookers and refrigeration units out on the shop floor for the first time in month and demand is expected to be high. Pete Davison, Sales Manager at RE:SOURCE said: “It is fantastic to be able to bring back household appliances to the shopfloor as they have been greatly missed by our customers. We are expecting a lot interest but customers should be reassured that we will now be continuing to provide reconditioned appliances as long as stocks allow.” Customers are advised that the available appliances are not able to be reserved and will be made available on a first come first served basis so they are encouraged to visit RE:SOURCE at their earliest convenience. However, more detail on the specific appliances and their pricing can be given over the phone from the Friday 5th August. |
